Two Acworth police officers are being recognized for their quick actions to help a woman who was stabbed several times.
Officer LeFave and Officer Dye were waiting for food at the Chick-fil-A on Highway 92 last month when a woman was stabbed by her daughter came into the restaurant for help.
Investigators said the woman had been stabbed 10 times by her daughter in the parking lot. LeFave and Dye applied tourniquets to the victim and stopped her from bleeding more until more help arrived…
