MONTGOMERY, Ala. — A shooting that occurred early Monday morning killed an Alabama State University student who was a Louisiana native, WSFA reported.
Kaylin Smith, 19, was involved in a domestic dispute with a juvenile. The unnamed juvenile was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He is also a suspect in Smith’s death.
Police responded to the scene on Zelda Road around 4 a.m. Police forced entry into the home after hearing gunfire. They were able to get two people safely out of the home before finding Smith and the suspect…
