WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A West Palm Beach woman is facing a manslaughter charge after investigators say she drove despite a history of seizures, causing a deadly seven-vehicle crash in 2025.
According to investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Elizabeth Marie Romero Diaz was driving a Mazda SUV when she approached traffic stopped at a red light at the intersection of Military Trail and Westgate Avenue and failed to stop, slow down, or take evasive action.
