UPDATE AS OF SEPTEMBER 16, 2026 AT 8:48AMCorpus Christi police have identified the person detained following Tuesday night’s deadly shooting as 71-year-old Muriel Stewart.
Police said Stewart was taken to the department’s main police station for an interview. After the interview, she was arrested and taken to the City Detention Center for booking.
