Illinois man sentenced for intent to distribute methamphetamine

NEBRASKA (KCAU) — The Illinois man arrested in Nebraska in February for having methamphetamine in his car has been sentenced.

George Watson, 50, of Poplar Grove, Illinois, was lodged in the Buffalo County Jail after Nebraska State Patrol pulled him over for speeding on I-80 near Kearney.

Watson was sentenced to 40-49 years in the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services. He will receive credit for 224 days…
