BOISE — The Department of Veterans Affairs and the Boise Veteran Affairs Medical Center announced Monday it had awarded $13 million across eight grants to organizations helping veterans in Idaho who are homeless or at risk of being homeless.
The grants will be distributed through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program to prevent the imminent loss of a home, identify suitable housing for veterans and families and rehouse veterans and families who are homeless. The Boise-based El-Ada Community Action Partnership is among the recipients of the SSVF program for fiscal year 2027.
