PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A deadly hit-and-run has shut down an east Phoenix road early Wednesday morning.
Police say around 5:30 a.m., officers and firefighters received reports of an injured woman lying in the road near 28th and Van Buren streets.
Authorities believe a driver struck the woman and fled the scene before officers arrived. She was rushed to the hospital, but later died from her injuries…
