SAN DIEGO (KUSI/FOX 5) — The man accused of driving a stolen Tesla onto the Pacific Beach boardwalk and seriously injuring a woman during a police pursuit has pleaded not guilty to multiple felony charges.
Juan Antonio Gonzaba, who also goes by Johnny, entered the plea during his arraignment. Prosecutors say the 39-year-old led officers on a dangerous pursuit through Pacific Beach on Monday afternoon before abandoning the Tesla.
Surveillance video captured the chaos as Gonzaba allegedly drove onto the boardwalk, speeding past pedestrians. Witnesses said some people had to jump out of the way…
