SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Two kite surfers in distress were rescued Wednesday evening by the San Francisco Fire Department and the United States Coast Guard, fire officials said in a social media post.
SFFD said crews responded to the incident just after 5:20 p.m. in the midspan area of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco Bay. No medical assistance was required for either rescue.
