RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) – A $30 million renovation of Brown’s Island is on track to be completed by early 2027, with portions of the site ready in time for this year’s Folk Festival.
The festival starts on October 9th and will mark the first public preview of the improvement project.
After the weekend, the island will close again until the post-marathon festivities in November. Following race day, the site will close again until construction is done in the new year…
