“Not only beautify your own yard, but it is good for pollinators, good for birds, various wildlife. It’s just good for our region in general,” explained Kerri Whiteman, Native Plant Nursery Supervisor. “Planting native plants is a way to participate in conservation, even if it’s just a small container. Even if it’s just one plant, anyone can do it.”
