INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Mostly quiet weather this evening, but rain and storm chances return to central Indiana later tonight
THIS EVENING: Besides an isolated shower or storm, quiet but warm weather is expected with temperatures in the low to mid 80s
TONIGHT: After midnight, a boundary sliding in will perk up a round of scattered showers and storms around the I-70 corridor. Severe weather is not expected, but heavy rain lingering in a location for multiple hours could result in areas of flooding. A Flood Watch is in effect for most of central Indiana from 10pm tonight until 10am tomorrow morning as a narrow band of heavy rain could produce 2-3″ of rain. Most will not see those higher amounts. Rain should exit well before the morning commute.
FRIDAY: Much of your day looks fine under mostly cloudy to eventually partly cloudy skies. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s for most. A stray shower or storm is possible in southern Indiana…
