A manufacturer of electrical components is moving its headquarters to Charlotte and will establish its first U.S. manufacturing facility here.
Shemar Electric USA is investing $15 million into a 94,640-square-foot manufacturing facility and headquarters at 11125 Metromont Parkway in north Charlotte. It will create 80 jobs and begin hiring later this month. It will add roles for engineering, maintenance, supply chain, warehousing and technical and business support.
