NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio (WJW) — North Olmsted police have charged an 18-year-old man with shooting and killing his brother on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Ameen S. Farraj, 18, of North Olmsted, is now facing a first-degree felony count of murder in Rocky River Municipal Court, records show.

Police and firefighters responded just after 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday to the 5100 block of Lucydale Drive after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot after an altercation at the home.
The victim, later identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office as 22-year-old Abdulla Farraj, also of North Olmsted, was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
