CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – A Chinese national has been sentenced to prison after using his role as a bank employee to exploit elderly customers in a fraud scheme, Department of Justice announced on Thursday.
Yue Cao, 36, was sentenced to 120 months (10 years) in prison by Judge J. Philip Calabrese after a federal jury convicted him in February of 10 counts of bank fraud, four counts of aggravated identity theft, and one count of money laundering.
