A Middleton mother who recently lost her driver’s license following a drunk driving arrest in the pickup line at The Villages Charter School is in fresh trouble after a public, alcohol-fueled brawl with her married boyfriend.
Marina Lambertson Pakes, 36, was tracked down and arrested Sept. 9, at her home at 2605 Skoblicki St. in Middleton by Wildwood police officers on a Lake County warrant charging her with simple battery.
The warrant stems from a messy Sept. 5 altercation at the Salt Shack in Clermont. According to an affidavit of probable cause, a witness stepped outside the waterfront restaurant and found Pakes aggressively yelling at and hitting her boyfriend. The witness, who warned the couple her Meta smart glasses were recording the encounter, physically intervened to stop the attack and eventually called 911.
Pakes initially walked away from the scene, leaving her purse behind at a seating area. However, she soon returned to the property and began pushing and hitting her boyfriend again. The witness stepped between the couple to shield the man, and the restaurant manager hit a panic alarm. Pakes eventually fled the scene to return to Middleton, but the witness used Pakes’ abandoned purse to identify her for law enforcement…
