Kona Ice is planning to construct a new 12,300-square-foot office and warehouse facility in Belleview, providing a centralized operational hub for its expanding fleet of shaved ice food trucks.
A conceptual site plan was submitted by engineering firm Clymer Farner Barley, Inc. on behalf of Lee Winchester, the owner of Kona Ice Ocala, LLC, to the Marion County Development Review Committee last week.
The proposed development will span 1.8 acres across three contiguous parcels along SE 68th Street, approximately 0.12 miles east of its intersection with SE 58th Avenue, in Belleview. The property carries a light industrial zoning classification and a commercial future land use designation.
