RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — 8News got a visit from a special guest with the Armenian Food Festival on Thursday to get a look — and a taste — of what this weekend’s 66th annual festival has to offer.
8News anchors Delaney Hall and Madison Moore were joined by Armenian Food Festival volunteer Marty Mooradian to learn more about the festival’s cultural and culinary happenings.
“We have all the old favorites but a bunch of new stuff too,” Mooradian said. “This year we have an apricot cookie; the national fruit of Armenia is an apricot, so it’s apricots and walnuts.”…
