Brand on the Run host Casey Brand takes us to Santa Barbara, where she introduces us to the artists and artisans who make this corner of California so distinctive. With Casey as our guide, we spend the day exploring the creative community she has come to know and love-from longtime craftspeople and contemporary artists to the small, unexpected places that keep her coming back.
Along the way, Casey visits Dana “DJ” Joaquin, whose hand-beaded hatbands bring together artistry and craftsmanship, and explores the work of the makers behind Homer leather goods.
