New facility opening on Friday, Sept. 18, at 14277 S. Tamiami Trail
A new customer service office will be opening in North Port, Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner announced this week.
The facility will be located at 14277 S. Tamiami Trail in the North Port Village shopping center, a news release notes. It will replace the elections office’s current location in Biscayne Plaza in North Port, the release adds.
“Beginning this Friday [Sept.18], the new location at the North Port Village shopping center will serve as the official elections office in North Port,” Turner said in the release. It will be “the location voters may visit if they need to conduct election tasks in person,” Turner added…
