HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County drivers will run into widespread lane closures starting Sunday, September 20, as the Florida Department of Transportation kicks off another week of highway and local road maintenance.
Most of the work is scheduled overnight to keep traffic moving during peak rush hours, but several daytime projects will shut down lanes from morning until late afternoon.
On Interstate 4, crews have scheduled three separate work zones. Westbound lanes between 50th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (SR 574) will see closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., running Sunday, September 20, through Tuesday, September 22…
