New Worcester cafe brings global flavors to Chandler Street this fall

A new cafe is coming to Worcester’s Chandler Street with an opening date in late fall.

The restaurant, Cafe Eidy, will be at 643 Chandler St., which used to be Perry’s Tatnuck Deli before it closed in 2024, according to the Telegram & Gazette. Before that, Bushel N’ Peck ran a deli there, in addition to its three other restaurants on East Mountain Street in Worcester and in Grafton and Charlton.

David de Castro, the founder and executive chef of Cafe Eidy, wrote on Facebook that his restaurant will serve food made with seasonal and local ingredients with flavors from “around the world.”…
