AUSTIN (KXAN) — Investigators believe a 22-year-old Cedar Creek man killed two women, one in Bastrop and one in Austin, according to a joint release from the Bastrop and Austin police departments.
That suspect, Manuel Salgado, is dead.
Bastrop case
On Sunday, Salgado allegedly met his former girlfriend, 20-year-old Mariana Montoya Palacios, at Fisherman’s Park in Bastrop, the release said.
