AUSTIN (KXAN) — A 43-year-old inmate was found dead in the Travis County Jail on Wednesday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.
The Travis County Sheriff’s Office said inmate Christopher Ramon was found unresponsive in his cell shortly after 9 a.m. Wednesday during a nurse’s round.
The nurse immediately tried CPR and was assisted by corrections staff until first responders arrived, according to TCSO. Ramon was pronounced dead at 9:51 a.m…
