Restaurants are beginning to open one by one around the highly anticipated H Mart development in Haltom City, even as the Korean grocery store itself remains under construction.
Among the first arrivals is Kin Pho, a new Vietnamese, Laotian, and Thai restaurant. While the restaurant is new, veteran hands are crafting the food — those of Xayen and Nakasane Chan, a married couple who have been a part of the area’s dining scene for more than 25 years.
Kin Pho is a spinoff of Asiannights Lao Thai Cuisine & Bar, the couple’s lively restaurant that opened near the border of Fort Worth and Haltom City in 2000.
