SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — A Katy man accused of killing a man found dead on a San Angelo roadside from multiple gunshot wounds in 2023 has pled guilty to murder, court records indicate.
According to court records filed in Tom Green County, Jermaine Levy Jr., 26, pled guilty to a first-degree felony charge of murder on Sept. 16. In exchange for his guilty plea, Levy was sentenced to 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s Institutional Division with no probation.
First-degree felonies are punishable by imprisonment for life or for 5-99 years, according to the Texas Penal Code. An individual found guilty can be additionally punished with a fine not to exceed $10,000.

The sentence comes after Levy was arrested on Feb. 7, 2025, and indicted on April 9, 2025, on the murder charge for the killing of Magdaleno Medina Jr. on Oct. 11, 2023…
