National Cheeseburger Day lands on Friday, September 18, and in Houston, there’s no shortage of ways to celebrate. But with burger joints ranging from decades-old institutions to chef-driven newcomers, deciding where to sink your teeth into a juicy patty can inspire plenty of debate.
In honor of the occasion, DiningOut Houston took the question to its Facebook followers, asking readers to weigh in on the best—and juiciest—burgers around town. The response was substantial: 466 comments and replies produced recommendations for 57 different restaurants, spanning old-school burger stands, neighborhood institutions, chef-driven newcomers, and destinations well beyond the Loop.
