State-appointed superintendent Mike Miles tapped Kristen Hole to become deputy superintendent in February. The district said she is leaving to reunite with her family, who moved out of state in the spring.
Houston ISD Deputy Superintendent Kristen Hole announced Thursday morning she’s leaving the district. Hole was tapped for the position by state-appointed Superintendent Mike Miles in February of this year.
Hole previously served as the district’s chief academic officer. She joined the district shortly after Miles took over and worked for the Texas Education Agency (TEA) before coming to Houston ISD.
In a statement, the district said Hole is leaving to reunite with her family who moved out of state last spring. Hole has been traveling back and forth since they moved. The district did not say when Hole’s last official day would be…
