MADISON, Wis. — Five Madison-area restaurants were named winners Thursday of the 11th annual Madison Black Restaurant Week.
The Madison Black Chamber of Commerce puts on the week each year, inviting the Madison community to support their favorite Black-owned food businesses. The Chamber said nearly 500 ballots were cast this year across five different categories.
“We are thrilled to recognize the hardworking businesses that infuse South Central Wisconsin with culture, flavor, and entrepreneurship,” Chamber president and CEO Camille Carter said. “MBRW gives us an opportunity to explore Black-owned food businesses, celebrate the people behind the food, and experience the traditions and creativity they bring to our community.”…
