‘Armed and dangerous’ suspect sought in reported attempted second-degree murder, NOPD says

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are asking for the public’s help with finding a 39-year-old man accused of attempted second-degree murder.

The NOPD said Richard Reginald Johnson is wanted for the alleged crime and is considered “armed and dangerous.”

Investigators said an attempted second-degree murder by shooting happened in the 4300 block of Werner Drive on Monday, Sept. 14.
