On September 16, 2026, Robert Shrader, 41, pleaded guilty to seven felony counts of Invasive Visual Recording in a Bathroom or Dressing Room arising from offenses committed at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center.
Shrader was sentenced to four years in a Texas state jail facility, to be served day-for-day, after the court ordered two maximum two-year state jail sentences to run consecutively. Shrader also waived his right to appeal, making the convictions and sentence final.
The resolution was reached after extensive consultation with the identified victims, who fully support the outcome. From the beginning of the investigation through its conclusion, protecting the victim’s privacy remained a priority, given the deeply personal nature of the evidence in this case. This resolution secures seven felony convictions and a significant and certain punishment without requiring the victims to endure the additional intrusion of a public trial.
Chief Prosecutor Adam McLane said: “Shrader abused a position of trust to invade the privacy of these victims. He now stands convicted of seven felonies and will serve four years in prison for his conduct. I am grateful to the victims for the trust they placed in us throughout this case, and I hope this resolution gives them the ability to put the criminal process behind them and move forward.”…
