A woman who contends she burned her hand while reaching for a rotisserie chicken at a Fred Meyer store in Eugene has filed a lawsuit alleging negligence by the company.
Angela Steffen is seeking up to $900,000 in damages related to permanent scarring and “loss of enjoyment of life,” as well as $11,000 for past medical expenses and lost wages and also $50,000 in future medical expenses.
