Two 15-year-old boys injured in Akron shooting

AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — Akron police are investigating a Thursday evening, Sept. 17, shooting that injured two 15-year-old boys.

Officers just before 7 p.m. responded to the 900 block of Hartford Avenue for a reported shooting, according to a news release.

They found two teens who had suffered gunshot wounds. One had been shot in the chest, the other had been shot in the upper leg, according to the release. Their injuries appeared non-life-threatening.
