ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Albany County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Laurie Moore was arraigned in New Scotland Justice Court on Thursday in connection to a misconduct investigation. Moore, 47, is accused of misusing county Flock cameras to access information.

Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple previously stated that Moore allegedly accessed Flock footage systems to conduct thousands of unauthorized searches since January to track her ex-girlfriend. She also reportedly perused data hundreds of times pertaining to the license plate information of four other people she was familiar with.
Moore was arraigned before Judge David Wukitsch on September 17 on falsifying business document charges and official misconduct charges. Moore did not enter a plea on Thursday, and is slated to return to court on November 5. Sheriff Apple confirmed that Moore, who has been with the department for 13 years, has been indefinitely suspended from her role.
