2 face dozens of charges after dog pack attacks woman, neighbors in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Two people have been charged weeks after a dog pack attack in northwest Charlotte left several people injured in late August.

Charlotte police are accusing 44-year-old Rychelle Morrow and 75-year-old Rodney Morrow of the ownership and “cruel” treatment of seven dogs involved in a dog attack on Aug. 26. Weeks later, on Sept. 16, Rychelle and Rodney Morrow were booked in the Mecklenburg County jail on dozens of charges each.

According to an affidavit, at least one of the Morrows was driving a U-Haul truck in northwest Charlotte on Aug. 26. The seven dogs were in the back of that truck, being held in an “unsafe and cruel manner,” police said…
