GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) – The purchase of the former Georgetown steel mill site has been canceled, according to a state representative.
Rep. Lee Hewitt, who represents Georgetown and Charleston counties, confirmed to WMBF that River Development Equities’ attempt to purchase the former Liberty Steel mill site in Georgetown has been cancelled.
