KEARNY, N.J. (PIX11) — The final stage in the building of the new Portal Bridge is arriving, but commuters will endure another round of delays, service reductions and detours.
The new Portal North Bridge over the Hackensack River is expected to be fully operational by Thanksgiving. Trains will travel on two tracks in both directions between Newark and Secaucus.
