From Kitchen to Business: The Hispanic woman behind Lubbock’s Wild Honey Hats

LUBBOCK, Texas — Brisai Rejino is the proud owner of Wild Honey Hats. This Lubbock small business is a custom hat bar that started in the kitchen of her home as a way to make money for her family.

“I started in my kitchen at my house. I never imagined that this is where we would be, but here we are. Lubbock has been so good to us and we just absolutely enjoyed being here and the doors that opened for us,” Rejino said.

Her story isn’t just about building a business, it’s about doing it as a Hispanic woman and creating a path she said she did not always see growing up.
