Plainview coach Wyatt Martinez wants the Bulldogs to tune out the homecoming distractions and concentrate on one play at a time when they host Coronado Friday night.
The Bulldogs enter the matchup with momentum after defeating rival Hereford on the road. Martinez said it was Plainview’s largest margin of victory in the rivalry since 2016, and said it showed his young team is beginning to mature.
“The game’s not too big anymore,” Martinez said. “I’ve really seen them calm down and realize they’ve just got to play one play at a time.”…
