Utah Transit Authority temporarily suspends fare collection during system upgrade

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Utah Transit Authority is temporarily suspending fare collection as it upgrades its fare collection system.

It’s offering Zero Fare systemwide starting on Friday morning, September 18, through Sunday night, September 20.

Zero Fare means that there are no out-of-pocket costs for customers to ride UTA, including Ski Bus, PC-SLC Connect, TRAX, FrontRunner, the S-Line Streetcar, UTA On Demand, or Paratransit service…
