LINN COUNTY, Ore. – Linn Together partnered with Lebanon School District to train 600 staff members in suicide prevention, helping adults recognize warning signs and connect struggling students to resources.
The training focuses on QPR, which stands for Question, Persuade and Refer. It’s an emergency mental health intervention that teaches people how to recognize and respond to warning signs of suicide.
