The chief administrator of Providence St. Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage is being reassigned to the nonprofit healthcare network’s largest hospital in Alaska. Jessica Oswald has been named Chief Administrative Officer of Providence Alaska Medical Center, in charge of executive leadership and operational oversight for clinical and support service lines, working closely with the chief medical officer and chief nursing officer to advance strategic priorities and enhance patient care.
Oswald brings more than fifteen years of leadership experience with Providence, having held key roles in acute care operations, shared services, and enterprise transformation. Under her leadership at St. Elias, an extended inpatient acute care and rehabilitation facility near C Street and Tudor Road, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities International accredited the hospital’s Stroke Specialty Program and Brain Injury Specialty Program, and U.S. News & World Report ranked St. Elias among the nation’s top fifty rehabilitation hospitals.
