ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A bear that broke into multiple homes and injured a north Asheville resident will not be killed once captured, the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission announced.
If NCWRC can safely capture the bear alive, they said the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro has agreed to temporarily care for the bear until an appropriate permanent home is found.
