AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – With less than 30 days until early voting begins in Georgia’s governor’s race, Democratic nominee Keisha Lance Bottoms will make multiple campaign stops in Augusta on Friday to talk about the cost of living, health care and education.
Bottoms, the former mayor of Atlanta, will begin the day at Paine College, where she plans to meet with students and discuss how cuts to federal higher education funding under former President Donald Trump are affecting students at historically Black colleges and universities in Georgia.
