CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Three days after circulating surveillance photos of a suspect, Charlottesville Police have made an arrest in connection with the Sept. 12 shooting on the city’s Downtown Mall.
Kejuan Augustus Anthony, 18, was arrested in the city Friday and charged with attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
CPD responded to a report of gunshots being fired during a large disturbance in the 300 block of East Main St. about 1:53 a.m. Saturday, CPD announced.
