Conway man sentenced to 10 years in prison after Myrtle Beach robbery

CONWAY, SC (WMBF) – Conway man sentenced to 10 years in prison after an armed robbery in Myrtle Beach.

Eric Deery, 24, pleaded guilty to attempted armed robbery on Friday before his trial scheduled to start on Monday, the assistant solicitors from the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office said.

The Honorable Circuit Court Judge David Caraker sentenced Deery to 10 years in prison for attempted armed robbery which is a violent offense and is a most serious strike under South Carolina’s Two Strikes law, the solicitor’s office said…
