A teacher at Cunningham Elementary School told the Pawtucket School Committee on Tuesday, September 15, that one of the school’s two teacher-assistant positions had been abolished, and that a first-grade collaborative classroom now has no teacher assistant assigned to it.

The teacher, who identified themselves as a fifth-grade teacher at Cunningham Elementary School, spoke during public participation, the portion of the meeting when residents may address the committee on any subject.
