SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A 22-year-old man was arrested Thursday night after a two-vehicle crash in Clairemont that left a passenger with serious injuries, authorities said.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision happened around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Pocahontas Avenue in the Bay Ho neighborhood.
The 22-year-old man was driving a white 2019 Toyota Corolla southbound on Pocahontas Avenue when he failed to stop a posted stop sign and entered the path of a westbound gray 2016 Honda Civic, police said.
