BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A multi-week investigation led to the arrest of an accused Baton Rouge area fentanyl trafficker.
Keshun Wiggins, 36, was charged with:
- two counts of distribution of Schedule II narcotics (Fentanyl)
- possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II narcotics (Fentanyl)
- possession with the intent to distribute Schedule IV Narcotics (Alprazolam)
- possession with the intent to distribute Schedule I Narcotics (Marijuana)
- possession of Schedule II narcotics (Methamphetamine)
- operation of a fentanyl clandestine lab
- possession of drug paraphernalia
- transactions involving drug proceeds
- violation of an electronic monitoring condition
- violation of a drug-free zone (less than 2,000 feet from a church)
As the investigation unfolded, agents made several controlled purchases of fentanyl from Wiggins, EBRSO said.
