Hannah Perry’s preliminary court hearing, originally scheduled for Sept. 18, has been continued until the week of Sept. 21.
Hannah is one of three codefendants in the Glen Carbon animal cruelty case, along with her grandmother Donna Perry and Melanie Norem. Hannah and Norem were denied pretrial release, while Donna was released under the condition that she not care for any animals for any length of time before trial. Norem’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 25, and Donna’s is scheduled for Oct. 16.
All three women are being represented by public defenders; the Intelligencer has reached out the public defender’s office for comment…
